Coach Sam’s story

Hi, I’m Sam Renzi — an RRCA-certified run coach, marathoner, and believer that big goals are meant to be chased.

I wasn’t always a runner. I grew up on the soccer field, where running was a punishment. But after an injury and a move to Boston, everything changed. I laced up, ran my first 10K in 2011, fell in love with the half marathon in 2013, and crossed the finish line of my first marathon in 2014. From there, I set my sights on my biggest goal yet: qualifying for the Boston Marathon. It took four years of grit, persistence, and plenty of ups and downs to get there — but when I finally earned that BQ, I knew I wanted to help others feel that same finish-line magic.

Now, I coach runners who are ready to dream big — whether that means crushing a PR, qualifying for Boston, or simply proving to themselves what they’re capable of.

I also get the hustle. I work a corporate job, so I know what it’s like to juggle training, work, and life. That’s why my coaching is built for real runners with real schedules — helping you train smarter, stay consistent, and find joy in the process, not just the result.

Your bold goals are possible. Let’s go chase them together.
